For those interested in The Soul cage, here is a little Q &A I’ve been asked to write about how and why I wrote it.
Q1: What made you write The Soul cage?
A: Nothing “made” me write it. I’m a writer. It’s what I do. Writing passes the time a hell of a lot faster than sitting here playing with myself.
Q2: What kind of research did you do for The Soul Cage?
A: I read a couple books and did some on-line research, since I didn’t initially know how teleportation worked. It was a good thing I did, because it gave me the storyline for an entire series by asking three questions: The answers to these questions and the morality of their answers is what inspired me to write the series. The three question that arose as I did research where:
1: If a person is first killed before being duplicated in another location, what happens to the person’s soul between death and recreation?
2: If a computer must have a program to recreate that person, why not change the program and create whatever you want?
3: Once you have a program to recreate a person, why not recreate him/her whenever you want, thus making them immortal?
Q4: What will a reader take away from reading The Soul Cage?
A: Nothing too in-depth or life changing. It’s just a chance to escape, relax, and have some fun with the possibilities of the future.
