There were a million things I could blog about this month. There is so much going on in the world. Unfortunately, it is mostly negative, and I’m not in the mood. The high-school students protesting for gun control is admirable, but naïve. At least they put down the phones for a while. The part I found ironic is that while many are demanding gun control for their safety, a large number of teenagers are making threats to shoot-up their schools. Even if you control the guns, there’re other maniacs out there making bombs. People will murderer whether they have a gun or not. Two of the forty threats made on our local schools were made by students carrying knives. Whatever the threat, it’s still going to cost them twenty years in jail. Time to start penalizing irresponsible parents as well.
But I wasn’t going to waste my time on the negative today. It is fifty degrees and sunny outside. The 2018 baseball season began this week. Summer is right around the corner! Soon I will be cursing the heat while pushing the mower around the yard, trying to avoid the doggie booby-traps.For now I wish to put aside the long winter of death, and feel happy in the renewal of life that comes with spring
